Sail Training / Young Mariners
Set sail on the DUEN and discover the natural wonders of British Columbia's coastal environment. Since 1986 Duen Sailing Adventures has been dedicated to sharing our knowledge about plant and animal life, natural and cultural history, and the world of sailing. Experienced crew, naturalists, hands on activities and scientific equipment offer students an understanding and appreciation of coastal habitats.
Young Mariners can work on individual sailing certification as well as explore the rich coastal waters surrounding the southern tip of Vancouver Island during 4-5 day trips. They may visit ecological reserves, marine parks, marine centres and wildlife museums as they experience and investigate The Natural Coast.
